Colin Jacobson sends his apologies

Sad news today that Colin Jacobson will not be able to attend this years Festival. He has been a rock on the stage at the previous events and we will miss his knowledge and expertise this year. We send him our best regards and hope he will be able to join us at the next Festival. In the meantime Eamonn McCabe multi award winning sports and editorial/portrait photographer and former Picture Editor of the Guardian will fill Colin’s shoes in September

NHT to open The Eye Festival

Great news – BBC Wales Arts presenter Nicola Hayward Thomas has agreed to open this years Eye Festival on Friday 30th September. Nicola has been a great supporter of the festival on Radio Wales Arts Show interviewing Director Glenn Edwards and Cambridge Jones in 2012 and Glenn again in 2014. It is fantastic she can make the opening this year and we look forward to welcoming her to Aberystwyth.
